DISNEYLAND!!

With our year being so crazy we wanted to take a vacation - it just so happened that the only weekend we really had free was the weekend of our one year anniversary. So we winged down to Southern California for a few days. I took Pat on the quick tour of a few of the old places that I used to frequent and both houses I lived in. Come to find out they have redone both of them. The Avocado house is now a beautiful mansion!! We spent most of our time at Disneyland. Pat hadn't been since he was 14. It was a TON of walking and great times. (Thanks for the anniversary churros Pat!!)

 We were given a free upgrade because they had rented out all the other cars.

This is the Nissan Cube. It is really square and really low.

We got strange looks no matter where we were.

This is the actual celing. It is made to look like a ripple - it would seem cool in theory

but when the other cars headlights would reflect off of it you could see the ripples out of the corner

of your eye. It was just plain strange.

Oh - the speakers also had the ripple effect.

* Note to self: Do Not go on Splash Mountain with Pat sitting in the front seat.

No part of you will be dry and you will feel as if you have just climed out of a pool.

On Monday we drove up the coast to my favorite hole in the wall - Taco Surf. It was amazing! The food was just as good as I remembered it. Pat really enjoyed it too. The drive is right on the PCH. It was a beautiful day. Wish we could of stopped and hung out on the beach for a few days. Oh well, maybe next time!
